Power Training for Sports

Power is an absolute need for sport's performance. Usually the athlete that lacks power cannot do the tasks needed for sports performance well, such as: throw, run, jump and other such needs to perform at their top level. Developing it is not rocket science, however there is a way to do so while helping prevent injury.

Be aware, that research shows that only what you do is important, but so is the approach, mechanics, effort and focus. In addition to that, studies show us that our approach to training can make us more resilient to injury or susceptible as well.

So train for power by doing jumps, cleans , sprints and so-on but be sure that you know what you are doing and do it well on each rep, in order for the move to make you a better athlete.

Below are some or our athletes training to increase their power to play even better.
